Sesame Black Granite is a premium black-toned granite from Wulian County, Rizhao, Shandong, named for the gray-white mineral particles evenly scattered across its black base, resembling sesame seeds. The stone presents a solemn, dignified black tone with fine, uniform grain and a clean, elegant decorative effect. Outstanding physical properties include Mohs hardness of 6-7, compressive strength exceeding 140 MPa, flexural strength above 9 MPa, and water absorption as low as 0.12% — making it one of the hardest and most durable granite varieties. The flamed finish creates a uniform micro-textured surface with significantly enhanced slip resistance, ideal for outdoor plazas, municipal roads, parking lots, and other high-traffic areas. Applications include exterior cladding, interior and exterior flooring, curbs, tree surrounds, and stair treads — the premier black stone for municipal infrastructure and landscape projects.
